Files & Folders in Sharepoint can't be recovered by Microsoft

Hi, I hope it's fine to ask this question. We bought an Office 365 years ago. We stored a lot of files (thousands files & folders) in Sharepoint. Last week, all of our files and folders went missing...

Take a look at the audit logs following this

https://support.office.com/en-gb/article/Search-the-audit-log-in-the-Office-365-Security-Compliance-Center-0d4d0f35-390b-4518-800e-0c7ec95e946c

Perhaps they aren't deleted, just moved somewhere else? Audit log will tell you what activity happened.

Ok thanks! I'll try this later and see.

I wonder why microsoft support didn't direct me to this? Is it same as data change log?
