Hello,
I guess you meant Microsoft 365 dynamic Group?
I was able to use the functionality, it took a while.

Hello AndresGorzelany,
It is a security group with type: Dynamic. Using a dynamic membership rule, we add all guest accounts from a specific supplier. The group can be selected when adding members (MS Teams), but only one (random) guest account appears in the screen where you can also adjust the membership. Additionally, I cannot remove the guest account using the cross (X) button.

Adding the security group that way actually expands the members of the security group and tries to add them as members of the team, however, that dialog does not add them as guest user type but tries to add them as members, failing
Even if it would work, you would have to run that dialog regularly, as it won't update when new members are added to the group.
I guess this team has members of the company and it is also intended to have guests, right? is it a new team? Maybe you can create a Microsoft 365 Group dynamic with rules that include both the guests and the members of the tenant
Please let me know if I understood correctly- WMarkusSep 18, 2024Copper ContributorI am aware that the group needs to be re-added if new members are added. It is a new Team. I get the same message when I use a security group that only contains internal members.
