I resolved this issue for a colleague by re-installing the Teams client. I did not uninstall the existing installation. Installed over the top.

How's the behavior when using Teams online? You haven't mentioned if you have also signed out manually from Teams (top right corner). Sometimes you have to do that as a restart and/or quit isn't enough.

ChristianBergstrom i have tried to sign out and sign back in again, and then to join a meeting in which others had their cameras on, but got the same result. since this problem i've been using teams in my browser, which works fine with no issues.
- ChristianBergstromApr 07, 2021Silver ContributorThat's odd. Try removing the Teams cache manually. The link describes where Teams is installed and usually the only location you need to clear is %AppData%\Microsoft\Teams (you can be selective but just wipe the entire content in that folder). You can get there by going via Start, paste and hit enter.
