I heard rumors that in 2020 there will an Linux based Teams SBA which should run only on spezial hardware. (Audiocodes OSN plattform or similar). My Question: Will there be a HyperV or VMware ESX enabled Version of the Teams SBA?
Best regards

I heard that something similar to the Skype SBA will be available for Teams so that calling will work if something happens to Teams connection.
Since Audiocodes SBC is available for both VMware and Hyper-V it might be that this solution works with both, or maybe it will be an appliance. I guess have to wait and see since all this information is under NDA currently so I doubt Audiocodes or Microsoft will answer this in public.

@Linus Cansby Habe a look at the current "Whats New in Teams Nov 2020
"To support the most critical conversations in the event of an outage, the new Survivable Branch Appliance (SBA) allows you to place and receive PSTN calls even in the event of a WAN outage. This SBA is now available to certified Session Border Controllers (SBC) vendors, allowing SBCs to link with the Teams client in the event the client cannot reach the Microsoft Calling network. "
