Teams Auto Answer When on a Call

Hi, I have a user who was on a Zoom call when a Teams call queue call rang on her laptop and auto answered. Im pretty sure Teams doesnt have auto answer but just need to confirm that? Its looking like this could be the Poly Lens headset issue but just wondered if anyone else had seen a similar issue.

Hi @daveabbley,

Microsoft Teams currently doen't have a built-in auto-answer feature.

However, there are reported cases of Teams calls being automatically answered, often associated with specific headsets, particularly Jabra and Plantronics (now Poly).
The problem seems to come from certain headsets having their own auto-answer functionality.

To resolve this, users can check and disable this feature through the headset settings.
Additionally, checking for firmware updates for the headset could potentially address the issue.

It is recommended to review the headset settings or reach out to the headset manufacturer's customer support for further guidance.
