I am having the same issue. iPhone 11 and use Airpods Pro 2. It seems distorted on a Jabra Evolve headset as well. I was thinking it may have been the iOS upgrade to the Airpods included in the iOS 18 package. It is occurring in the office as well as working remotely so it is not exclusive to the wifi or network. It does not appear to affect standard iPhone phone calls that I have noticed. I have performed troubleshooting on the issue and seems to have narrowed to the Teams application running on the iPhone after the update to iOS 18. It was not a problem on the previous iOS version the phone was running.
