When I switch to the new Teams, I seem to lose the ability to mute the mic via the system tray during a meeting. Is there any way to regain this ability within the new Teams app? Currently I just revert to the old Teams. I find the system tray control very useful to retain control while working on other virtual desktops during meetings.
Thanks,
Jonah

Hello@jonah1023
welcome to the Microsoft community, my name is Recep I'll be happy to help you today.
I understand that you lose the ability to mute the mic via the system tray during a meeting.
Please note that this could be a design change in the new app, but it's also possible that it's a bug. I would recommend reporting this issue through the Teams app so that Microsoft can investigate and potentially resolve it.
In the meantime, you can use keyboard shortcuts to mute/unmute your mic in Teams. You can press `Ctrl+Shift+M` to toggle your mic on and off. Additionally, you can hold down `Ctrl+Spacebar` (Windows) or `Option+Spacebar` (Mac) to temporarily unmute yourself. When you release the key combination, your mic will be muted again. I hope this helps!
