Hi

I have got the User account to work if i remove the student license and then apply the faculty license which is ok.

It never work before with Student license

We could really do with getting faculty and student license types licensed

Did you enabled the Student license to use Teams? This is not enabled by default

Teams is not enabled by default for students. Teams must be enabled for students before they can access Teams. Use the Office 365 admin portal to enable Teams for faculty and students.

To enable it, i found the following:

Login with Global Admin in O365: Microsoft 365 admin center-> Settings-> Services & add-ins-> Microsoft Teams.
Select Settings by user/license type, and then configure the relevant license type to enable the user
