Shortcut for 'liking' a message in a message alert popup?
Does there exist a text shortcut to 'like' a message in a message alert I'm currently viewing?
I'm a Linux user and I receive an alert which displays an incoming Teams message. It would be nice to be able to use a text short cut to "like" the message on that alert, to let the sender know I've received it and I agree. Currently, I have to use the mouse to click on the message, open the main Teams screen, navigate to look at the message response options and choose the thumbs up (like) response.
There has to be an easier and shorter way.
I've tried using "(yes) as the reply" but that creates a new message which is the big Thumbs Up as a brand new message. I'd rather have the little thumbs up, message "like" response which is applied to the senders message, but be able to do this from the message alert popup rather than navigating back to the main Teams window.

Not currently, there are multiple uservoices open for emoji support in quick replies for notifications. There is one specifically for adding the thumbs up feature that you are specifically asking for

Would recommend you vote for it to push it up the agenda. I believe strongly in emoji support and this functionality so have voted on all of them. AFAIK there isn't any workarounds and if you look at the uservoices everything people have attempted have either triggered new conversations or been rendered in text
