SharePoint & Teams Folder/Directory structure

I'm having issue with how SharePoint and Teams integrate... well, kinda don't. Why can't SharePoint see the folders that are made in Teams? It creates sites based on them, but why can't SharePoint ...

Still would love to be able to directly access Teams Folders from within the Root of SharePoint. And as I said be able to make shortcuts to folders that are specific to that Group of the SharePoint 'Shared Docs. folder. Just seems counter intuitive if Users map the whole Domains SharePoint. Just leads to duplication of files.

Or I guess have to just live in Teams as a semi-clunky, slow management method. Then direct Users in SharePoint Sites to their Team Groups that way. Hmmm, such a simple request of why can't I see as Admin the Teams Libraries and why can't SharePoint Folders be easily individually linked into the Teams structure.

MS you guys brainwashed us on Dir./Folder structure since Windows 1 and when we had the introduction of SharePoint we got a nice methodology and structure. Now there's this and it don't integrate easily in your original OS design.

FYI, preset shortcuts are becoming much less valuable because the Office clients do a great job of keeping track of where we have been working and making good suggestions about locations to save files. We can also Pin specific sites/files so that they are always available which is pretty nice.
