Org wide team and new users in a organisation

I'm currently working for a company with around 450 users.

There is a team where all the employees has to be part of just for the sake of
org-wide communication. This was a public team.

The GA converted the team to a org-wide team. But now, when there is a new employee,

the HR department still has to add that new employee to the team. 

In my opinion this should be a automated process since this is a org-wide team, or am I completely incorrrect in this assumption?

Also, if I should be right... does anyone has a fix for the issue?

  • Hi,

    No until and unless there is a automation build. You can create a PowerAutomate Flow that will add the New User created to the M365 Group which is Team. That would reduce the requirement for the HR Team to add the users manually.
