Opening Email Attachments in Teams Files

Hi there, we drag emails with attachments from Outlook into Teams \ Files so all staff can access. However attachments are not accessible to open, either in Teams or SharePoint. Our IT company is advising this feature doesn't exist but this is a pretty basic
