Microsoft Teams on Mac - Screen Sharing with Dual Displays causes sharing to freeze

Hello,

I'm using Microsoft Teams for Mac (v 1.7.00.1859) and I've also tried the new Teams (Version 23335.208.2601.834).

On both versions, and previous versions going back ~2 years or so, I've never gotten screen sharing in a teams meeting to run smoothly. Other participants usually see my screen initially after starting the screen sharing, but shortly after the screen is frozen for the other participants and is maybe, at best, updated every 30-60 seconds and sometimes not at all.

Just to clarify, my teams meeting is still active, my client does not freeze, only the screen sharing for the other participants. I can stop sharing and share again, which causes the 'current desktop' to show, but again frozen.

Software & Hardware: Mac Mini M1 2020, 16GB memory running macOs Sonoma 14.2.1

I'm on a wired fiber connection (500/500) with little or no delay.

Tested Workarounds:

- Complete re-install (done on previous versions)

- Deleted Cache

~/Library/Caches/com.microsoft.teams

~/Library/Caches/com.microsoft.teams.shipit

~/Library/Application Support/Microsoft/Teams
