We are using the file archive on Teams/Sharepoint for a lot of documents! We would like to setup the file archive so that a document is locked for editing as default, it shall still be possible for all users to edit the documents, but they have to activate the editing each time they want to edit.
The reason why we want it like that, is because we experience a lot of issue when a user with other regions or template setting are opening a document, then Word, Excel Etc. are sometimes making change in the document without any interaction from the user, and when the user are closing the document it is auto saved (without asking the user if they want to save the changes).
