In One-to-One chat "quote" option is not available in MS Teams.

If we start one to one chat then there is no option to quote a message.

Suppose we are chatting with a person and he sent 10 messages then there is no option to reply random message in chat.

Would vote to push up the agenda. In the meantime as a workaround you can do this on the mobile app. Growing call for parity on the desktop so I have voted

This is why Threaded chats work great. If you are that far behind on a chat, you can reply to those. I personally wouldn't mind being able to turn a chat threaded.
