I Cannot See Chat history in Teams

cannot see my chat history when i click on it, happens on just desktop app
i only see it when i use the pop out chat option
i have already cleared cache and still seeing same issue

      i also ran teams in compatibility mode

      the problem is when i do it after some time i still experience the same issue
