How do I share calendars with people from different companies in Teams?

Copper Contributor

It seems like only the host company can view each others calendars and there is no cross-domain view.  As a Guest, I don't even have the Calendar option on the left bar in Teams desktop app.

To be an effective team we need to be able to see each other's availability and schedule a meeting.  Am I missing something?

Here is where I posted something similar on stackoverflow:

Hi @nathanhawk

Currently with the Guest User Privileges I am sure we cannot have the Calendar Shared in the Microsoft Teams Application. As a Guest users you can discuss with the person on the availability and schedule the meeting accordingly.

From the Feedback Perspective would recommend to vote for the following User Voice

Guests cannot schedule meetings anyway. But if you have federated sharing configured between the two organizations, both sides should be able to use Outlook to schedule a Team meeting, while viewing the availability of participants.

@Vasil MichevDo you have any references for this?
