Breakout Rooms Icon Missing

Copper Contributor

Hi

I have installed Teams on two PC's (running the app, not the browser version).

All the documentation I have read indicates that I should be able to set up Breakout Rooms although the icon on the top bar is missing (see screenshot) on both PC's.

I am running using Office 365 Personal.

What am I missing?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Hey, @Ian_UK5 - unfortunately breakout rooms aren’t available for the personal/free version of Teams.

You’ll need to upgrade to a license that it’s included in.

Hi @HelloBenTeoh

Thanks for getting back to me 🙂

I've got a 365 Personal subscription which entitles me to 30 hours meetings + other paid for Teams functions etc (not the free account max. 1 hour meetings).

If I haven't got the right version / licence of Teams can you suggest which version I should have?

Many thanks

@Ian_UK5 have a look at the options here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-teams/compare-microsoft-teams-options

The licensing is a bit funny with which features are included at the different price points so have a look through.

You’ll notice that the “Business” level, pricing is for a broader suite of Microsoft 365 applications, not just Teams.
