Auto-email meeting attendees only

Copper Contributor

Hello,

How do I setup MS Teams to auto email those who attended a Teams meeting. This number could be 200-500, hence I need an auto-send.

Thanks!

Hi @Anupama410,

There is no built-in way to automatically email meeting attendees in Microsoft Teams, but there is a workaround.

You can create a Power Automate flow that automatically sends an email to meeting attendees after the meeting ends.

To create a Power Automate flow to automatically email meeting attendees, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Power Automate website and sign in.
  2. Click on Create.
  3. Select Automated flow.
  4. Select When a new event is created in Microsoft Teams.
  5. Click on Create.
  6. Add an action to the flow.
  7. Select Send an email.
  8. Configure the email options.
  9. Click on Save.

Here are some additional tips for setting up an automatic email for meeting attendees in Microsoft Teams:

  • Use a dynamic email subject line. This will help to ensure that the email recipients know what the email is about.
  • Use a dynamic email body. This will help to personalize the email for each recipient.
  • Include a link to the meeting recording in the email. This will allow the recipients to review the meeting if they were unable to attend live.
  • Test the flow before you use it in production. This will help to ensure that the flow is working as expected.
