Alert Content disappeared in MS Teams
We use MS Teams to receive alerts created by Sumo Logic using Webhooks. Until recently this worked pretty well, but suddenly it seems like Teams is clipping everything after ā\nā in the alert message. The strange thing is that the content of the old alert messages (even those sent weeks ago) is also affected by this change and the alert messages are missing information.
For example, the below alert should be having data after 'High Read IOPS on -" but as the payload has '\n' right after "High Read IOPS on -", Teams is clipping the remaining part.
Was there any recent change that may have caused this? Is anyone facing similar issue?
It seems since this morning, people are reporting that the channels are back to normal. Sometimes requiring a Teams restart. I think the fix must have been applied upstream somewhere. But we did nothing at our side, so hopefully it's fixed for everyone too.

mdave123 We have also encountered this issue in our org. I think it might be related to updates to the client versions (including the web client), as we have some virtual desktops running the n-1 version of the client (1.5.00.28361) that successfully display every post in full, every time.
I've raised a case with MS support this afternoon, so if they provide a solution or an explanation, I'll post it back here.

- Andrew_HCopper ContributorYes, fixed for our users too. No word from the support team but it does look like they have indeed fixed it.

mdave123 - I'm finding the same issue too.
It does appear to be breaking off after the first line too, which I hadn't established until reading your post. Additionally, it does appear to be client-side. A few colleagues noted having the issue and provided screenshots, but most people were unaffected. Meaning two different people looking at the "same" message in Teams would see different content.
In the last week however, gradually more and more people have had the same thing happen. Messages that were previously OK, are now not OK too. During testing we confirmed that the same user was able to see the "brief messages" on their desktop client on one machine, but logging in on another machine might result in the the "full messages".We've been unable to find anything that has resolved the issue. Restarting, clearing cache and re-installing Teams has had no effect.
The messages in question are predominantly HTML.
I'm assuming from the lack of responses to this message that there is no resolution and that the problem isn't acknowledged yet. But I figured by adding a bit more information might help.
- mdave123Copper ContributorThanks for the additional info.
The weird part is when I open Teams from my phone, I see alerts having complete information. However, when I check from the Desktop Client, it is clipping of the information after first ā\nā.
Are you or anyone else having the same issue?
