Apple MDM Push certificate

Hi All,

I am trying to get to grips with Intune by testing MDM and MAM on mobiles. Does the AppleID that is required for the MDM push Certificate need to be in anyway setup on the iOS mobiles I want to manage? My knowledge of Apple products is low so be gentle 🙂

Hi Brian

Nope, it's a separate Apple ID used for the Apple Push Certificates Portal. You don't have to use the same Apple ID on the devices (and shouldn't!).

Just a small side note:

Apple Account Creation Portal
https://appleid.apple.com/account

Create an account and login to www.icloud.com to get the popup for License Agreement!
The license must be agreed once, otherwise the Push Certificate Portal will not allow the login...
