Microsoft Forms Branching

Hi guys!

For microsoft forms branching, i realised that it can only linked to one question

For example q1 to q2

if i want if user select one of the choice in q1, i want to link to q3 and then to q5

and if user select other choices in q1, i want to link to q3 and then to q4

i could not set the logic for q3, instead i need to create a similar question and link them together.

Anyone know how to solve this problem?

Based on your description, it seems that question 3 will always be displayed, regardless of which option is chosen in question 1, while questions 4 and 5 will only be displayed based on the option chosen in question 1. If this is the case, you could consider moving question 3 after questions 4 and 5 or grouping questions 3 and 4 and questions 3 and 5 in separate sections with branching set to question 1. However, please note that in this case, you will need to duplicate question 3 in both sections.

but for the scenario below
if q1 choice 1 needs to be linked to section 2 and end response
but q1 choice 2 needs to be linked to section 2 and continue to section 3
i can only duplicate two section 2 right?

You are correct in your understanding. The branching was set in question 1 not only for section 2, but also for section 3 in your case.

so there is no way to set a all the way long branching from first choice to last choice based on different choice?
