Excel Responses error "The file is corrupt and cannot be opened"

I am getting this error when I try and save or open the Excel summary of responses in MS Forms.    I have managed to work around by just repeating the Open / Save process until the error does not occur - but it is frustrating.

Is this a bug?

Did you ever get a fix for this or figure it out? Having the same issue now.

I have this problem too.  The file size is limited to 5000 responses but the form  has now reached 9265 responses and the second file is corrupt.  @mlchrzan @daithi .  Any clues?
