Can an anonymous form collect the location from our company directory?

I need to deploy a short survey and we want to sort the responses by branch location.  The office location is part of the address book entry in Outlook.  Other than having the respondent self-identify their location, can Forms pick up that data while leaving the name blank?

Thanks!!

RexnTulsa it's not possible for an anonymous form to look up the responder's location from Outlook as that means the form wouldn't be anonymous. An anonymous response is completely anonymous and that's how it should be. You will need a dropdown with the locations and ask the responder to select theirs.

RobElliott I understand the argument, but it's very narrow in scope.  If I pulled a respondent's state or country from Outlook, it's very unlikely they can be personally identified by that data.  If a specific address was pulled, then I agree that it would be much more likely to identify a respondent.  Anonymity has degrees, something Forms seems to be ignoring.  As much as I dislike Momentive, I can choose what degree of anonymity I need and that's why this next survey will be built on that platform.

Here in the EU if we say a form is anonymous then it has to be totally anonymous, we can't legally have any system which could identify who has submitted it. There are no degrees of anonymity; either it is or it isn't.
