Can an anonymous form collect the location from our company directory?

RobElliott I understand the argument, but it's very narrow in scope. If I pulled a respondent's state or country from Outlook, it's very unlikely they can be personally identified by that data. If a specific address was pulled, then I agree that it would be much more likely to identify a respondent. Anonymity has degrees, something Forms seems to be ignoring. As much as I dislike Momentive, I can choose what degree of anonymity I need and that's why this next survey will be built on that platform.

Here in the EU if we say a form is anonymous then it has to be totally anonymous, we can't legally have any system which could identify who has submitted it. There are no degrees of anonymity; either it is or it isn't.
