Translate "insert" not work in Microsoft Word 365

Copper Contributor

I am using Microsoft Word 365 on Windows operating system. The problem I am encountering relates to the "Translate" feature within Word.

When attempting to use the "Translate" feature to insert translated text into my document, I have noticed that the inserted Chinese text does not display. I have followed the recommended steps for translation, including selecting the source language and target language correctly, but the inserted Chinese text appears as blank into my document.

I have also ensured that the fonts I am using support Chinese characters, and I have tried changing the font settings to troubleshoot the issue, but the problem persists.

Steps I've taken:

  1. Opened Word document.
  2. Selected text to translate.
  3. Chose "Translate" option from the menu.
  4. Inserted Chinese translation.
  5. Observed that the inserted text does not display properly.

I am unable to proceed with my work due to this issue, especially when I need to use the "Translate" feature to work on my documents. I would greatly appreciate any assistance in resolving this matter.
