Preventing Password change

Copper Contributor

IS there a way for the admin of office 365 to prevent a user from changing their Password?

If the Standard user logs into the office portal online, then can go to the account settings and change their current password. How can this be prevented?

In the Entra Admin Center set the following "Switch" to "None".

Tom I already seen that mine is already set to NONE but the password can still be changed.
Sorry, I didn't read carefully. If a user can log in to the portal (MyAccount) with their password, as far as I know (as of today) there is no way to prevent the user from resetting the password.
The only way would be to redirect the authentication process to an external system (i.e. use federation), and use the controls therein to prevent password changes.
