If you accidentally deleted a file or folder from your desktop that was synced to OneDrive, it might still be recoverable. First, check the OneDrive Recycle Bin. Here’s how:
Go to OneDrive online: Open your web browser and sign in to your OneDrive account.
Navigate to the Recycle Bin: On the left-hand side, you’ll see the "Recycle bin" option. Click on it to view your deleted files.
Restore the file: If you find the permanently deleted file in the Recycle Bin, select it and click on "Restore" to recover it back to its original location.
If the file isn’t in the OneDrive Recycle Bin, you can try using the Windows 10 File History feature, if it was enabled prior to the deletion. Here's how:
Open the Control Panel: Search for "Control Panel" in the Windows search bar and open it.
Go to File History: Navigate to "System and Security" and then "File History."
Restore your files: Click on "Restore personal files" and browse through the available backups to find and recover permanently deleted files in Windows 10.
