Changing Domain and Removing the old one does affects file in onedrive, groups, teams file and etc?
Hi All!
Our company is planning to change our domain but still in the same tenant, and need to retain all of the document, emails, files from teams and OneDrive. Does changing the domain and deleting the old domain will affects all of those things that are connected with the old one? Does we need to manually download all files from OneDrive, teams and SharePoint and upload to the new domain (same tenant). And I don't have any idea if it would be called as migration since we will only be replacing the old domain.

Hi, base on the link that you have provide it only shows the adding, changing of domains for the group but it does not say about the files inside the group or drives if there would be affected.
