Does any one know what the maximun number of attendees are recommeneded when sending a meeting request out via Outlook with an Exchange 2013 or 2016 backend. Also what is the best practice onsending a meeting request to a DL? I am kind of suprised that the documentMicrosoft Office best practices when using the calendar does not offer any guidence on this.40KViews0likes3CommentsMeeting Poll in Outlook
I'm seeing this feature in Outlook on the web, but it seems not finalized yet: Participants of the poll receive the poll notification, they can vote, but as an organizer I don't receive notifications when people have voted. Not useable at this stage. I could find an entry in the roadmap about it, but no information here or the blogs. Where could we find some information about what the target end user experience will be (user story)? Roadmap abstract: Meeting poll in Outlook (Rolling Out) Set up meetings with people you can't see their free/busy schedules with a meeting poll. Now when you send a Calendar invite you can add different time/day options for your invitees to vote on. Based on results organizer can schedule based on majority or attendee importance.Meeting poll will be availablethrough Outlook on the web. I have a rather picky customer request that's got me scratching my head for a solution. I'm turning here for help figuring this one out. We recently migrated this customer to Office 365 Exchange Online and Office 2016. They had a public folder with a shared calendar that we're looking to upgrade. This calendar would show bookings for the conference rooms and staff vacations. I've created room resources and an Office 365 group so they can manage their shared calendar individually. It's almost there - but there's one thing they want that I can't seem to provide - when they go to their calendar(s) in Outlook, they want two calendar views - the calendar on the left is their personal calendar, the one they want to see on the right is the group calendar with the resource calendars overlaid. I can only seem to overlay calendars on the first calendar, I can't get it to show up on the second one. Is there a way I can either overlay the calendar views *or* get resource bookings to show up on the Office 365 groupwithoutsending notifications to the entire group?2.9KViews0likes1CommentEmail management best practices using Outlook across devices
My job is to guide users on how to effectively use Office 365 to increase their productivity. At the moment I'm struggeling when it comes to best practices foremail management using Outlook across devices (Outlook,Outlook on the web and the Outlook mobile app), since they all provide different waysfor managing email. In Outlook on the web you can pin email to the top, in the Outlook Mobile app you can swipe to schedule email that later appears in your inbox again if you haven't compelted them, but these are not reflected in theWindows version of Outlook(just to mention a few differences). It would be so muchbetter from auser perspective if there was a streamlined set of functionalities that worked across all Outlook versions. Is this something that Microsoft is working on, or will we continue to see different Outlookteamsreleasing functionality independently? Is there a unified "best practices" guidance for Outlook across devices? Thanks for this forum and for the User Voice platform!2.9KViews0likes3Comments
