Watermark in Excel (Mac)

I am using Excel 16.51 Version (Reference Below),

problem I am facing is that I am attaching a picture on a cells I am using in row & column I made that picture most transparent so that my data ca be visible. Now when I wanted to use a specific cell and I click on that it only clicked on picture I tried making that picture on backwards as well but still not able to do it.
I tired searching it on web but all the guides available showing with the reference of old version and that option is not available on my excel. It's purchased version.

Someone please help me in this issue.

Thank You

mumairk737 You can't use a picture as it will always sit on-top of the grid. In stead, use a background from the Page Layout ribbon. Use a faint enough picture so that it can serve as a watermark as you described.
