Time formula
Riny_van_Eekelen Hi again, well I thought I found the formula and got the right answer, but then it disappeared. Now I can't get it to work again. Do you come to Thailand?
See attached. It's important to format the total cell correctly. My initial thought was to have it as a decimal number. Then you would sum the hours and multiply by 24 and format it as a number. Alternatively, you can just format the summed hours as a Time but in a special way. It's indicated in the attached workbook.
No, not planning to come to Thailand anywhere soon. It was 22 years since I was there.

Thought we had it, but the total is wrong, probably me doing something wrong.
I formatted C35 to (H):MM:SS
I'm in Hua Hin, did you ever get there?

Difficult to know why it won't work on your end without having your workbook. You write that you formatted the total as (H):MM:SS. Be sure that you use [H], not (H). You should find it under Format. Cells, Custom.......

Hi, yes that is the formula I used.
Be sure that you use [H], not (H).
But still can't get the correct calculation
Have you got it to work? Must be something I'm doing wrong if so.
