Stock Data Type
I just got a new computer - signed into Microsoft 365, etc. Have a spreadsheet with multiple stock quotes that worked fine on my old computer. With new computer, not retrieving the stock data. Then, I tried to correct the errors (showed #NAME in each cell) by creating a new stock list - enter stock symbols, insert table, change data type to STOCKS, etc. The list of symbols converts to the correct stocks, but when I click the Add Column button, nothing happens. Even when I type "Price" in the header for the next column, no price shows up. HELP!

- AshaKantaSharmaIron ContributorThe Stock Data Type is available in the latest versions of Excel for Microsoft 365 and Office 2021. Ensure you are using a version that supports it.
Check Your Version: Go to File > Account > About Excel to verify your version. Excel's Stock Data Type requires an active internet connection to fetch real-time data.
Verify Connection: Ensure your computer is connected to the internet. Make sure you are signed in with your Microsoft 365 account:
Check Sign-In: Go to File > Account and ensure you are signed in with the account associated with your Microsoft 365 subscription.
