Special Paste (Values) not working with merges cells
I have two workbooks. We’ll call them “Facility Production - Date” and “Corporate Report - Weekly”.
Data is input to Facility Production-Date on sheet1, that data is pre populated on sheet2 using =Sheet1!A1, etc etc. sheet2 is formatted exactly the same as corporate report - weekly sheet1. However when I try to copy and paste the information it says all merged cells must be the same size.

I'm afraid there is no way around the error message that you get. Paste special / paste values does work only on cells that are not merged.
So you have either to unmerge all the cells in the source and target sheets. Or you could just use standard full paste.
