Sort Data in two excel tables without VBA

I don't think there is a solution for this. Why do you want the data on two different worksheets? I'd combine ALL data on one sheet, then use the second sheet to link to a part of the data.

Hey,
thanks for the quick reply.
On Sheet 1 is a summary table of student grades. Sheet 2 contains the points from the class work, which are converted into a grade and then automatically transferred to sheet 1. On sheet 3 there is another class test, etc. I hope you can imagine the file to some extent.
