Pivot table into Gantt Chart - issues with converting sum of date to date formatt
I am looking to create a gantt chart (on a graph), using a pivot table - based on this youtube video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8xNQsZBB5rs
Gantt graph is stacked horizontal bars, with sum of duration and start date.
Usually on the field list, using sum of start date, then convert to date format will give you the original date that you put in however I've been having issues where the sum of the date returns to 0. E.g. Start date is: 09-01-2021. Then on the pivot table it is moved to the value area, and I've put it as 'Sum of Start Date'. It is then converted to 0. When I convert the format to date, it goes to 00/01/1900. This isn't the case with the other dates, just the one where the sum of the date returns as 0. Is there a way to fix this?
Thanks

With your permission, if I can recommend you, add a file (without sensitive data) to your project.
Maximum size: 71 MB • Maximum attachments allowed: 5)Explain your plans in relation to this file. So you can get a solution that is tailored to your needs much faster.
At the same time, it is much easier for someone who wants to help to understand the subject.
A win-win situation for everyone :).
* Knowing the Excel version and operating system would also be an advantage.
Thank you for your understanding and patience
