I created a document in 2019 with a password on my Mac in Excel. I have tried opening the document with said password, which I know for a fact is correct, and Excel says:
Alert: The password you supplied is not correct. Verify that the CAPS LOCK key is off and be sure to use the correct capitalization.
(The password is a number!)
I have attempted opening the original saved file as well a file attachment from an email I sent of the file. Neither work. (I also included the password in the original email from 2019, so I know my records are correct.)
It seems the password function has become corrupt.
How do I open the file?
