Need help with Pivot Table

Hi, I am trying to make a pivot summary for some data with 10 colums and about 4000 rows. One column has names, and some names are repeated multiple times. While making pivot, these names are being counted as many times as they are mentioned. Whereas I want a count of unique names appearing in that column, and not count multiple instance of same names. So if a name appears 10 times, I want it to be counted as 1 only. I want a count of all names appearing in the list, while ignoring multiple instances of same name. How can it be done while making PIVOT? Thanks in Advance! Regards,
