merging two sheets

 

Hi. I  have two spreadsheets. Both sheets have the  same unique identifier (an EAN) against each record but all the rest  of the headers are different. This EAN is A2 on both sheets. Sheet1:A2 , Sheet2:A2
Sheet 2 has values in cell B2 that I want to “import”  to Sheet 1.

What I need is: If A2 in Sheet 1 equals A2 in Sheet 2, it adds B2 in Sheet 2 to B2 in Sheet 1

Apologies if not clear....I’m not an excel whizz !  Any help greatly appreciated

      Thanks Hans. I'm not getting this to work but this might be because I don't quite understand it. However, I've asked my son to explain it to me slowly and in simple words !
