Linking excel sheets on SharePoint

I am putting together a SharePoint site and I have some excel sheets. I'm wondering if its possible and how I could open 2 excel sheets on the same SharePoint site and link them together so I can transfer data and numbers back and forth etc. Please let me know if its even possible and how.
