Inserting rows in middle of sheet
Hi - I am trying to create a simple worksheet which I was able to do on previous versions of excel. Now when I try to insert a row above or below and exisitng row I am told that it cannot be done because it means pushing data off the botom of the sheet. I have tried deleting rows at the end of the sheet but this makes no difference. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong please? Thanks

Hi Timbo200
On the keyboard, press CTRL + End. That will get you to the end of the document.
Check out if there is anything there.
If there is nothing there, delete the last row (right click on the row, delete)
Then you should be able to insert row anywhere in the document.
What probably happens to you is that there is already something in the last row.
When you press CTRL + End, you will notice that that's the last row: you cannot get to the line under even after you press ENTER. So, the error tells you that you cannot get to insert another line, because the data (that is in the last row) will be pushed into the black hole, and the Excel does not do that 🙂

Hi Timbo200
you mean this message, right?
When you delete rows, you need to make sure to really delete the whole row and not only the contect. You should do it like this:
If that doesn't work, is it possible to send the file?
