How to create a new Excel based on another one but with inaccessible features?

Hello everyone, 

I have an excel document and I want to create another one very similar to it but without access to some features. I want them to be related dynamically so if I make any modifications to the original one they also appear in the new one. 

I have been trying some things: 

- I tried to create all the document based on queries to the original, but is very inefficient because the format of the queries is very weird and it is nearly impossible to properly modify this format to fit the original. At least it has been impossible for me. 

- I have also tried to obtain the new document by making copies of every sheet of the original one. It maintains the links to the original document, but if we modify anything there, it won't be modify in our new document.  

If anyone gets to a better solution that may help me I will be very grateful of hearing your ideas.
