How to change the chart type of a data series(macOS)?

I found a relevant support article here:

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/change-the-chart-type-of-an-existing-chart-c686d8c2-b294-43c0-b744-f54000f51454?ui=en-us&rs=en-us&ad=us#OfficeVersion=Windows

But it doesn't provide the way to do it on macOS. So I am wondering if I can do this on macOS. If so, please tell me how to do it step by step.

Looking forward to your replies.

  • YYAppleFan It's really very simple. Go back to your original chart with the two rings. I believe the inner ring already had the regional data in it.

Right_click the inner ring, format data series.

Now set the doughnut hole size to 0%

Yep, but in the macOS tablet doesn't tell me how to change the chart type of A DATA SERIES. I can only change the type of the WHOLE chart.

YYAppleFan Just click on a series in the chart and on the Chart Design ribbon, select Change Chart Type, exactly the same as on the Windows version.
