I have a formula calculator that results in a single point on a graph. You can change the values in the the spreadsheet and it updates the resulting point on the line graph, but is there a way- on any platform- that allows me to move the point on the graph manually and it automatically adjusts the amount of each ingredient to correspond to the resulting end point? All advice helpful.

Dragging data points in a graph to manipulate the underlying data was a great feature I used a lot many years ago. It was available in Excel 2003 but disappeared with the 2007 version (says Google). Found a video by "MrExcel3" on Youtube demonstrating it.

Yes, that was a nice feature. Just found some summary of what was redesigned What happened to my favorite Excel 2003 Chart feature?

Thanks, that's exactly what I mean. Too bad Microsoft has been so apathetic about adding it to any subsequent versions of Excel. Seems like customer interest in this feature remains enthusiastic enough that they should release an update that includes this feature.

It's still available if you really need the functionality. Insert menu, Object, Create from file: Microsoft Graph Chart (Graph.exe).

Great! Windows only, I suspect.
