Help with exponential smoothing of forecasted time series

Hi,

I am attempting to forecast prices in a timeseries. To assist with this i have started with a forecasted linear regression, i have heard that excel has exponential smoothing and other data analysis tools to help forecast time series and observe trends.

I have started to create a template on the "control variable" tab.

Does anyone have ideas or suggestions on how i can improve this forecasting.
