HELP, NEW TO EXCEL

Hi,

I'm totally new to excel and I need major help. I need to create a spreed sheet in order to keep track of delivery's.  Maybe by explaining it will help. I have 50+ customers who are receiving assistance with their heating for the winter. Each customer has X amount of money and with each propane delivery I need to be able to subtract that from their starting total. For example customer John Doe has a starting balance of $550.00 with his first delivery being $150.00, so I need the 150 to come off the 550. Each customer has 5 delivery's. I need an individual column for each delivery with the final amount at the end of the last column. I hope this makes sense. I know nothing about Excel and have been trying to do this for 2 weeks.

  • When you have some time take a look at this excel support site, there are some good training videos to help you get started https://support.office.com/en-us/excel

Thank you so very much. Can you explain how to copy formulas for each line? I have about 200 people that I need to add in. I can't figure it out. I feel like an idiot even asking.

You're very welcome njmills19. As David Moore suggested you can copy formulas down easily by dragging the bottom right corner when you see the cross hair as pictured below.
