Excel is converting my formulas into values

Copper Contributor

I am using Excel through my Microsoft 365 account (Version 2303, 32-bit). Every time that I type a formula in a cell, like "=LEN(A2)", Excel will convert it to the value. If I insert a new sheet into the workbook, it will not convert it to a value. OK, so I recreated my worksheet from scratch on a new sheet, run some code and I go to put my formula in my cell and Excel converted it to its value again. :(

So I insert a new sheet and type my formula and it leaves it as a formula. Reduplicate my worksheet, run some code and it starts converting all of my formulas to values again. What is happening and how do I fix it.

I have dissected my code and there is nothing in there that would possibly cause this. My 'Extend data range formats and formulas' is unchecked.

Right-click the sheet tab of the problem sheet and select 'View Code' from the context menu.

Is there code in the worksheet module?

@Hans Vogelaar Yes, I just found my problem. Thank you. UCASE was converting my formula to a value.
