Excel Investment Template

Copper Contributor

Hello!

I'm using the Excel investment template that pulls data from Refinitiv. I want to add an additional source to it to cover the data that refinitiv does not include,is there a way to add/edit the sources that this specific template has, or does anyone know how to essentially recreate the exact same template with that source plus additional sources?

Thank you!

You've had nearly 50 views with no replies. You'd help us help you if you were to post a copy of the workbook you have---it's unreasonable to expect us to know what template you're referring to -- or at the very least a link to the specific source of "the Excel template" in question. (It's unlikely that there's only one that would fit that description.)

I guess you use "Investment Tracker" template which is based on Stock data type. If some sources are not available you have two ways - add and update them manually, or use another data source. If the latest that's most probably Power Query which takes information from Yahoo.Finance or like. If the latest I see no reasons to combine both data sources. It'll be easy to use another data source where all data as available and re-create the file using ideas from above template.

@SergeiBaklan yes that’s the template I’m using. Thank you for the tip, I’ll try recreating the template with other sources.
