Excel in Mac Formula Separator

Hi I'm having issue with 2 things with excel in Mac 

1st the separator for the formulas is a , and I need ; 

2nd the date is showing as mm/dd/yyyy and if I change it to dd/mm/yyyy the formulas are not working with the dates.

Both depend on regional format settings, check which ones for your OS.
