Excel for mac - option to remove links not available

Hi,

I am working in a model where I have queries included and need to remove the links. However, in the data --> connections tab I dont have the option to remove the links, only refresh or clear permissions. The reason I want to remove them is to not have any data change when submitted (I continuously save a new version with links intact). How do I fix this issue? I am working on a Macbook pro with M1 chip if that changes anything.
